I am writing to update you on the upcoming publication of the Spinifex Arts Project Catalogue Raisonne. This catalogue will be published in two volumes with presentation slipcase. Volume 1 will chronologically present paintings C1- C700. Volume 2 will contain the catalogue raisonne entries for each painting with commissioned essays and other information tbd. I have commissioned essays from Judith Ryan, John Von Sturmer, Anne Loxley. Additional texts will be included by Dr. Peter Twigg, Louise Allerton and Ian Baird, all key people who have worked closely with the Spinifex group for over 15 years.

The catalogue will be published in its first edition by the Spinifex Foundation, ensuring that all profits from this publication and the book itself will be held by the Spinifex people. Publication is expected April/May 2010.

All works with C#'s 700 and below will appear in the catalogue raisonnne. Subscriptions are available as follows:

It will also be helpful if you can indicate the C# of any Spinifex work in your collection to assist with providing work location information to be provided in volume 2 of the catalogue.

Funding is also being sought through the normal funding infrastructure of the Spinifex Foundation.
